Joshua Albanese is a Fort Myers, Florida business owner who has spent eighteen years on one problem approached three different ways.

He started in 2007 after failing to find a photographer who could produce a headshot he was willing to use for an acting audition, so he bought a camera and learned the craft himself. What began with actors expanded to professionals as social media put a face on every career. He created the Natural Shot Method, a system for getting a usable image from every client rather than relying on who happens to photograph well, and has taught it to other photographers. His Fulton Market studio in Chicago became one of the top ten rated headshot studios in the United States and the top rated headshot photography in the city on both Yelp and Google, photographing around fifteen thousand professionals and capturing over three million images between 2007 and 2024.

He relocated the business to Southwest Florida in 2024 and now builds companies rather than working behind the camera. Spearleaf handles local SEO and AI search visibility for service businesses. The Reputation removes unfair Google reviews on a pay-on-result basis. JA Headshots continues as a Fort Myers portrait studio.
